LES PONTS D’ALGER
THE BRIDGES OF ALGIERS. This work shows and celebrates people of various ages, ideas or social positions. They are the people I have met on the streets those few days I visited Algiers in November 2010. Busy people going about their daily lives and generous enough to dedicate an instant to me or to my camera.
All of them are unique individuals, all of them different with their own worries and hopes following the course of their lives. They form a multicolored network of bridges that span and extend themselves over all distances: the distances of language, of past and of culture. They are the bridges that led me into the labyrinths of Algiers.
